Practice Schedule

Practices begin November 14th and ending mid-February at the conference championships.

Practice schedule is similar to previous seasons – generally 4 days a week. This is meant to accommodate the busy family. Multiple days is offered with the expectation that your swimmer will be able to attend at least 3 practices a week (on average – we’re all busy families.)

New times for 2016!  We’re adjusting the practice schedule to try and reduce pool and locker room congestion.

  • Gold Group – 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
  • Silver Group – 6:15 PM – 7:30 PM
  • Bronze Group – 6:00 PM – 6:45 PM
  1. In order to participate in the NCST your swimmer must be able to compete in the distances for his or her age group:
    1. Swimmers competing 8 & under – swim 25 yards unassisted
    2. Swimmers competing 9 & up – swim at least 50 yards unassisted
  2. It’s possible coaches may change your swimmers group either up or down to adjust to your athlete’s ability.
  3. NCST is a competitive swim team.
  4. Your swimmer is expected to compete in swim meets.  This is a personal challenge to improve your own times throughout the season.
  5. NCST is not swim lessons.

Not sure if NCST is right for you?  Register to check us out and practice with the team the first week.

Note: this is not signing up for the team.
