Guess Who’s Back? Back Again?

I was going to work a backstroke joke in there somewhere but…
get ready for the 2015-2016 Swim Season

I know…I know…fall sports have just started, but it’s time to think about what’s next.

Here’s what’s up…

New Head Coach
We’re very excited to have Suann Foust as our new head coach.  Suann coached with us last year and did a tremendous job.  We’re looking forward to working with her again.  Suann is currently recruiting the rest of the coaching staff and we hope to have some announcements soon.  Keep your eyes open for some returning favorites and possibly some new faces.

New Website
Check out the new website at ncst-swim.com.  We hope you’ll find the updated site easier to read and find information and, by popular demand, now supports mobile devices! (woot! woot!)

Pool Schedule
We’re in negotiations with the school district and plan to have the pool time available the same as last year.

Swim Meets
Swim meets will be determined at the end of September, we’ll update everyone when we have the schedule.

We’re excited the 2015-2016 Season and expect it to be better than ever.

Stay tuned for Fall and Winter Information

With every season in the new pool we’re learning more and more.  Please remember this is our first summer season in the new pool, with new equipment, new coaches, new volunteers and we’re still figuring everything out.

We’re already making plans for our fall conditioning season and regular winter season.  This is a volunteer run program and we will be looking to the community to help keep the momentum going and capitalize on the beautiful new facility we have.  If you have any comments or suggestions, we’d love to hear them.

Thank you to our great coaching staff!
Thank you to our amazing swimmer athletes!
Thank you to our parents and community!
Thank you to all our volunteers!

We hope to see you again in the fall and winter!

Conference Meets Results

Here are the results from the Summer Conference Meets this past week.  Great job swimmers!

Free Technical Swim Camp

Attendance limited to first 100 swimmers per day.

NCST Swimmers have been invited to the “I swim for Shelby Jane Competitive Swim Clinic,” that will be held August 8th and 9th at the Grand Haven Aquatic Center.

There is no cost to participants.  It is open to all that are involved in a competitive swim program.

Here is some information from the Organizers:
Instructors for this program are members of the Michigan State University Swimming and Diving Team.  We like to keep a 1 to 5 ratio for instructors to participant.  The instructors actually get in the pool and work with each swimmer.  This will be our 4th year hosting this event.  It is great to see our young athletes inspired while working with the MSU swimmers, and this is a great opportunity to promote the sport of swimming.  We would love to see members of your program participate.

Please refer to the attached flyer for details, and feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

Last Practices are Monday 7/13
