New Swimmer Evaluations Tonight & Tomorrow

Don’t forget, if you have never participated with NCST before, your swimmer must attend a New Swimmer Evaluation on either November 6 OR November 7 from 6:00-7:15.

This is a drop in evaluation.  Your swimmer evaluation will take 10-15 minutes.  You will not be there for the whole time.

And, if y’all show up at 6:00 sharp, there will be a wait.

Your swimmer must be able to compete in the distances for his or her age group:

  1. Swimmers competing 8 & under – swim 25 yards unassisted
  2. Swimmers competing 9 & up – swim at least 50 yards unassisted

Coaches will determine which practice level is appropriate for your athlete.

Note: Every season we have to balance the training groups depending on who signs up. It’s possible you trained with a different group last season and will be moved up or down this season. We won’t know until everyone has registered, but please be flexible. We want to keep similar ability and ages together.

Season Starts Next Week

Haven’t signed up yet?  Better get on that!

NCST Swim Season starts November 13th  Just imagine cold, snowy January and you can sweat it out in the warm humid pool!  Good times.

  • Practices start November 13th.
  • New practice times for 2017-18 to alleviate some of the locker room and pool lane congestion.
  • The meet schedule has been published online.  3 Home meets and 1 away.  We’re also hosting the Championship B meet.
  • First time swimmers must attend New Swimmer Evaluation (see above)

New Events For This Season

  1. Because High School Girls can compete in the entire NCST season, the league will officially have events for girls 15 and over.
  2. For 8 and under relays, we’ll now have events for boys, girls and mixed relays to have more options for our athletes to compete.
