Swimmers not showing up will affect relay teams (3 other swimmers) so it is imperative that you let us know if your athlete is not participating by 6/19/2016. This isn’t like RSVPing to a family party, if we don’t have an accurate participation count, other swimmers will lose chances to swim.
By 6/19/2016, let us know your swimmer is unable to participate.

Make sure your swimmer arrives with ample time to check-in and warm-up.
Check-in: 4:45pm Your swimmer must check in so that the event coordinators know he or she is there. If your swimmer does not check in, he or she will be scratched from the events.
Check in is either with a person or you highlight your name on a list (it depends on location but our plan is to have a list on the wall for highlighting your name.)
Once checked in, swimmers proceed to the locker room and swim deck and find your team and Coach. The team generally sits together and cheers each other on.
Your athlete will want 2 towels, one to sit on, one to dry off with. Healthy snacks is a good idea, remind them to clean up after themselves. Something to entertain themselves between events may be a good idea – electronics are discouraged (it’s a wet pool after all.)
Don’t forget your goggles! In fact, bring an extra pair if you have them.
Warm-up: 5:00pm Coaches will warm up the athletes.
Check-in Closes: 5:15pm Athletes who have not checked in will be scratched from the meet.
Meet Starts: 6:00pm Once the meet starts, athletes need to listen for their events to be called. They will be marshaled ahead of time to keep the meet moving. This is where it helps for the swimmer to have his or her event numbers written on his or her arm. Note, we won’t know the heat and lane numbers until the day of the meet.
Remind your swimmer they are representing themselves, our school and our community. Be respectful of the facility and other swimmers. Cheer their teammates on and have fun! Swimmers should focus on improving on their own times.
Swimmers not showing up may affect relay teams (3 other swimmers) so it is imperative that you let us know if your athlete is not participating by 6/9/2016. This isn’t like RSVPing to a family party, if we don’t have an accurate participation count, other swimmers will lose chances to swim.
By 6/9/2016, let us know your swimmer is unable to participate.
One way we keep our registration fee low for NCST is by generating revenue from our home meet concessions. Unlike the normal school sports concessions where items are purchased, marked up, and then sold, The NCST relies on items that are purchased and donated by you the parents of the team. This way, your contribution of a box of candy or bag of apples is magnified and really helps the team.
Please sign up for at least one of the items, or more if you are able : ). If you are short on time and do not have time to run out and pick something up we will also take cash donations that we can use to purchase what we need. Please bring your donations to the pool deck during practice. We have a great tradition of support by the team parents and it makes a huge difference so thank you very much!

Beginning the 2016 Summer Season we will group swimmers by skill level rather than age. While most swimmers will swim with other athletes their age, sometimes swimmers will be asked to swim up or down a level to practice will other swimmers in their skill range. All swim meets are based on age depending on the Age Up Date set by our swim league.
Please note, we are actively seeking volunteers to help with concessions, timing and marshalling at the home meets. We will be hosting a championship meet on July 14th.
Please note, the information published in the Northview News on 4/29 is incorrect. An early planning draft was accidentally submitted for publication. The information on this website is correct. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We’re offering a free camp evaluation tomorrow night – Wednesday, March 9th and Friday, March 11th starting at 7:30pm. It’s highly recommended that all 10 & Under swimmers attend a camp evaluation before registering. During the evaluation, we’ll get your swimmer in the water and determine their ability so you feel confident in placing them in our program!
The NCST Spring Swim Camp is the perfect chance to focus on essential principles in swimming that make a big difference in the pool. Stroke technique plays a vital role in the overall progression of swimmers throughout their career. The more attention a swimmer gives to proper stroke mechanics and fundamental skills, the more the swimmer improves. Our Spring Swim Camp provides a unique opportunity for coaches to interact with swimmers and deliver important material in a fun and effective way.
