We have partnered with North East Print House (a local business) for a limited time to bring you all of the gear you might want or need to get you through the season!
Find items picked out specifically for our team. There is also spirit wear available for your family and friends.
Knock off some of those Holiday presents from your list & start shopping!
Use the link to check out the shop. All orders will be placed online and will be picked up at North East Print House before Christmas.
NOTE: The team store is only open for orders until December 3rd at 9:00 PM. After that date, no more orders can be placed. This is to ensure all items will be back in time for Christmas.
You will be responsible for picking up your items at North East Print House on Plainfield once they notify you your items are ready.
This season we’re not asking swimmers to purchase a specific suit for the meets. Instead, we’re asking you to wear any suit with a black and red pattern. If you can’t find one, choose a plain black one.
Suits do wear out, we recommend choosing name brand suits by Speedo, Tyr or Dolphin.
Your racing suit shouldn’t be baggy. You want a tight fit to move smoothly through the water on your way to your best times!
Here’s a couple of examples we recommend , in no particular order — make sure you choose the black/red color or all black versions.
Here’s some more information from our First Time Swimmer’s Page.
Your swimmer will need a competition swim suit. Boys usually wear a jammer style. Girls should wear a one piece suit. Choose a suit that your swimmer feels comfortable in, but remember, racing suits should be a little tight.
Please find a similar black and red patterned suit. If you cannot find one, choose an all black suit. We will usually recommend a couple once the season starts. Suits do wear out, we recommend choosing name brand suits by Speedo, Tyr or Dolphin.
You may also want one or more practice suits to keep your competition suit tight. Suits do wear out.
Your swimmer will need competition style swim goggles. Many of our coaches recommend the Speedo Vanquisher style. Goggles frequently break and get misplaced. Swimmers should have a spare set. Coaches do not have extra pairs to loan out.
If you qualified for a early bird swim caps and/or a team shirt, we have placed the order and will send an email as soon as we get them back.
Don’t Freak Out! There is nothing that I know of in the forecast. But when there is, we get a lot of emails asking if we are cancelling (hint: we’re probably not.) Here’s the deal:
You should plan on practices happening even if school is closed or weather seems to be getting worse. So plan on having practice unless you hear otherwise from us.
If the district is requiring us to cancel practice they will notify us around 2:00 PM and we will notify y’all as soon as we can after that via email, web, Twitter and Facebook.
You should plan on meets happening even if the weather is bad.
There is too much planning and coordination among teams to cancel. We understand some families may not want to risk the travel, and that’s ok. If you can email us, that’d be great.
In the event of a meet cancellation, we won’t know until the last minute, but we notify y’all as soon as we can after that via email, web, Twitter and Facebook.
It’s on, like Donkey Kong! Swimmers are hardy individuals. We will have practices and meets almost no matter what. You don’t need to contact us to ask, we’ll contact you if it’s not happening. 🙂
Happy T-gives week!
Reminder! Monday is the only practice this week. Watch our Team Calendar for updates.
