First Practice Tomorrow Night

Well, it’s finally here, NCST Winter Season starts tomorrow night.

Welcome back returning swimmers, hello to new swimmers!

Here are some things you need to know:

Practice Times for this season:

  • Gold Group – 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
  • Silver Group – 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM
  • Bronze Group – 6:15 PM – 7:00 PM

Note: Every season we have to balance the training groups depending on who signs up. It’s possible you trained with a different group last season and will be moved up or down this season. We won’t know until everyone has registered, but please be flexible. We want to keep similar ability and ages together.

Bronze Group Coaches

Please bear with us this first week.  Our Bronze coaches are training this week for the State Swim meet.  We’ll have some substitute coaches this first week and will settle in next week.

Team Store is Open

We’re trying something different with team suits and spirit wear this year.  We’ve partnered with Making Waves for an online team store.

Team competition suits are available for purchase through the team store.  The team suit this year is the Speedo Caged Out.

You may also purchase practice suits with the grab bag (what you get is a surprise!) and spirit wear.

This store is operated by Making Waves and NCST does not mark up any prices.  Please contact Making Waves directly for any support.

We are working with Making Waves to schedule some suit fitting days.

The password for the team store is “gowildcats”.

New Swimmer Evaluations Tonight & Tomorrow

Don’t forget, if you have never participated with NCST before, your swimmer must attend a New Swimmer Evaluation on either November 6 OR November 7 from 6:00-7:15.

This is a drop in evaluation.  Your swimmer evaluation will take 10-15 minutes.  You will not be there for the whole time.

And, if y’all show up at 6:00 sharp, there will be a wait.

Your swimmer must be able to compete in the distances for his or her age group:

  1. Swimmers competing 8 & under – swim 25 yards unassisted
  2. Swimmers competing 9 & up – swim at least 50 yards unassisted

Coaches will determine which practice level is appropriate for your athlete.

Note: Every season we have to balance the training groups depending on who signs up. It’s possible you trained with a different group last season and will be moved up or down this season. We won’t know until everyone has registered, but please be flexible. We want to keep similar ability and ages together.
